Hallo Linux Interessierte,
Ab heute startet ein neuer Linux-Kurs 101 auf der Online Learning Plattform edx.org (Harvard+MIT)
namens LFS101x
Der Kurs ist eine Adaption des Einführung in Linux Kurses der Linux Foundation und geht über ca. 40-60 Stunden.
Es ist kostenlos (wenn kein Zertifikat im Anschluß gewollt ist) nach Registrierung bei EdX.
Die Zeiteinteilung ist völlig einem selbst überlassen. Zum Abschluss gibt es eine Prüfung (1*Wiederholen erlaubt)
Wer also schon immer mit dem Gedanken gespielt hat auf Linux umzusteigen...hier ist die perfekte Gelegenheit.

Einziger Nachteil: Alles auf Englisch !
Falls jemand einen guten Kurs in Deutsch kennt...einfach auf diesen Thread antworten.
Warum ist das Prepping:
- Freie Software statt Abhängigkeiten von Microsoft, Apple oder sonst wem.
- Wissen ist übertragbar auf viele elektro Basteleien (RasberryPi, Arduino, Library Box, Handy (Android hinter der Oberfläche Linux) etc.)
- Läuft auch auf alten "Kisten" sehr gut (mit der passenden Distribution).
- Ihr investiert in Euch und nicht in Dinge
- Und es kann Spass machen sein Gehirn mal wieder zum Lernen anzuregen.

This course is descended from the original Linux Foundation's Introduction to Linux course, which was always taught with a live instructor, either in a physical classroom, or in a virtual classroom over the Internet, for which we charged tuition. Converting this course to one that was free of charge and available to a large community was a task that the Linux Foundation believed was worthwhile and would be well-appreciated. When we began the process of converting to a self-paced course in the MOOC format for edX, we really had no idea of how much work it would be and how many changes we would have to make in the presentation, so it could both stand on its own without a live instructor and be entertaining enough to hold students' interest.
